Southern Iowa Speedway season finale September 17-18 with Musco Lighting Fall Challenge
OSKALOOSA, Iowa -- The season finale for the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, IA will take place on Friday and Saturday September 17-18 with the Musco Lighting Fall Challenge that has been held at the Southern Iowa Speedway for several years. This year the USMTS modifieds will be racing for $2000 to win on Friday night and $3000 to win on Saturday night. Several of the top modified drivers from around the country should be on hand for this race.
The weekly stock car class and the hobby stock class will also be racing each night. A complete show will be run in all classes with the top eight hobby stocks and stock cars being locked in for the Saturday finale. The stock car class will be racing for $1500 to win purse with the hobby stocks racing for the $600 to win purse. This will be the final race of the season for the Southern Iowa Speedway in 2004 so fans are encouraged to attend the final event of the 2004 race season.

Gates will open at 4:30 on Friday night with hot laps slated for 7pm. On Saturday gates will open at 4pm with hot laps slated for 6pm and racing to follow. The United States Modified Touring Series season is winding down and will make a stop in Corning, IA on Thursday making this weekend a three-day swing which should bring several cars to the area.
Don’t forget this is the final race of the 2004 race season at the Southern Iowa Speedway. Grandstand will be $12 on Friday and $15 on Saturday. This purse should bring several stock cars and hobby stocks back to the Southern Iowa Speedway September 17-18.
