Bud Wilson Memorial this Saturday at I-35 Speedway


The I-35 Speedway is racing this Saturday, Sept. 18, with Good Shepherd Hospice Night and the Bud Wilson Memorial. The name means so much: mentor, racer, champion and organ donor. Wilson's family will have opening ceremonies at 7 p.m. with racing to follow.

USRA Modifieds, Medieval USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods hedline the action. Limited Late Models, Pure Stocks, E-Mods, Midwest Lightning Sprints and Sport Compacts will also be in action. At intermission it will be the Power Wheel racers on the track front straight.

Pit gates open 3 hours before race time and the grandstands open 30 minutes after the pit gates open. Admission prices are $15 for adults, $12 for Seniors (62 and older) and Military, and as always, those 18 and younger (ID may be requested) are free.

I-35 Speedway, super easy access, exit 64 off the interstate! Concessions located throughout the facility serving your favorites, like sweet, tasty funnel cakes, large tenderloins, hot fries, walking tacos, hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, and tea, water, pop, or beer. Trackside Bar and Grill overlooks Turn 1, great place to sit, watch the races, and have dinner! Mom approved restrooms! Parking is always Free, but please do not triple park, I-35 Speedway has plenty of parking.
