The officials at the Devil's Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas, would like to thank the racers and fans that came out for Championship Finals on Saturday, Aug. 28.

When the final checkered flag waved, Platinum Collision Center Victory Lane had a first-time winner, one racer that had not been to victory lane since 2006 and another who clinched the championship with his triumph.

Brandon Williams won his career-first race in the Everclear Auto Glass USRA Limited Mods. Williams was just going to make a few laps in the feature after having an emergency appendectomy earlier in the week, but in victory lane he said he felt good so he kept racing.

Jerry Cowart finished in the top spot in the Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks. His last win at Devil's Bowl was in 2006.

Clyde Dunn Jr. won the feature from the 10th starting spot and the 2021 championship in the Whitehorse Tuning & Dyno USRA Modifieds.

Again, thanks to all the racers and fans for making it a great 2021 Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series season.
