After three straight weeks of no racing action, the lights were turned back on as over 90 cars checked into the pits at the Lebanon Midway Speedway with current USRA B-Mod points leader Kris Jackson taking the lead from Austin Seets on the third lap to score his fifth win of the season.

Coming from the fourth starting spot, it was Seets making his first start of the season at Midway from the pole spot with Jackson, Donnie Fellers, Dayton Pursley and Shawn Nations close behind.

Seets was smooth on the bottom lane with Jackson moving up about two lanes up as Pursley followed.

A nice clean battle up front, Jackson made a power move coming out of turn four to overtake the top spot as Seets keep the pressure on the leader while Pursley and Nations were looking to move into second.

The quick pace slowed on lap eight as Pursley pulled high in turn one with problems ending his night.

On the restart, Seets looked inside of the two-time Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series national champion but Jackson rocketed off turn two to open a small advantage as Nations was working the top lane on Seets while Jerry Ellis was perhaps the fastest car on the track after coming from the rear of the field.

Jackson brought the field to the checkered followed by Seets, Nations, Ellis and Donnie Fellers at the line. Qualifying heats went to Pursley and Jackson with the top two rows being inverted. With his second straight win, Jackson will start in the seventh starting spot.

Action continues Friday, July 30, with USRA B-Mods in a $500-to-win feature plus Late Models, SuperStocks, Pure Stocks, Midway Mods and Legends.
