It was another red-hot summer night in Park City, Kan., at 81 Speedway with 75 cars signing in to battle it out for Saturday night glory.

In Alternative Pest Management USRA Modified action, points leader Cole Traugott wired the field collecting his second win in a row.

At the drop of the green, Traugott jumped out to a five-car-length lead while Kevin Kemp and Kenny Sweet battled hard for the runner-up spot.

Just behind them, Tad Davis and USMTS regular Tyler Davis argued over fourth and fifth.

Multiple cautions throughout the first half of the race allowed plenty of opportunity for positions to change at the front of the field.

The race’s final restart saw both Davis' share the first double-file row right behind Traugott.

Tyler Davis got the best of Tad Savis and went to work chasing down Traugott for the lead.

A one-car-length lead is as close as Tyler Davis got before fading late while Tad Davis made a late run to challenge for the runner-up spot.

At the checkers, Traugott, Tyler Davis, Tad Davis, Brendon Gemmill and Kemp were the top-five finishers while Traugott, Daniel Richey and Gemmill claimed heat race wins.
