Jackson grabs Lebanon Midway win

Lebanon's Kris Jackson fended back an early five-lap duel with Dayton Pursley to capture his fourth USRA B-Mod feature win Friday night at the Lebanon Midway Speedway.

Starting the the pole, Jackson took the opening lead as Pursley went top side to keep pace early with the two-time Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series national champion.

During the long green run, Jackson then was able to fend back the early charge to open up the ground and never looked back in recording the win.

Pursley settled in during the 15-lap feature to secure the runner-up spot.

Action continues Friday, June 11, with the USRA B-Mods competing in the Gary Woodall Memorial with a $500-to-win, $75-to-start feature.

Gates open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 7 and racing at 8.

Racing will also include Pure Stocks, Midwest Mods, Super Stocks and Hornets, along with a 100-lap enduro.

Grandstand admission is $12 with seniors and military just $9. Adult pit passes are $35.
