Officials from the Sports Park Raceway have announced that the half-mile dirt oval in fabulous Fort Dodge, Iowa, will continue to host fast and furious Friday night racing programs and operate under the United States Racing Association banner for sanctioning of the five weekly divisions.

The track will host Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series action featuring Modifieds, Stock Cars, B-Mods, Hobby Stocks and Tuners utilizing the same rules as the Hamilton County Speedway in nearby Webster city.

The experienced team of Bryan Denekas (Announcer) and Ryan Bergeson (Race Director) will be the track promoters with track owner Jeff Frevert serving as the General Manager. Greg Elliot and Ethan Anderson will keep the racing surface in top-notch form throughout the season and Taylor Elliot will be the track’s Special Promotions & Sponsorship Director. Travis Hurt will handle technical inspections and Dave Bergeson will wave the flags again this year.

Just like last season, the Sports Park Raceway will partner with the Hamilton County Speedway and Mason city Motor Speedway to provide an incredible three-track points fund.

Two practice dates will open the season on Friday, April 16, and Friday, April 30. The regular season opener will be Friday, May 7, with the season finale taking place Friday, July 30.
