USRA Modifieds to headline Outlaw Motor Speedway action in 2009

MUSKOGEE, Okla. — The Outlaw Motor Speedway in Oktaha, Okla., will make the USRA Modifieds part of their weekly Friday night program beginning in 2009. Licensed drivers racing in the USRA Modified division at OMS will be eligible for track points funds, as well as national points funds as part of the American Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series.

Located just a few miles southwest of Muskogee, the Outlaw Motor Speedway was built in 2003 and recently purchased by Danny Womack and Lynn Skinner in May of 2008.

Outlaw Motor Speedway is a big 3/8-mile semi-banked oval with 80-foot-wide straight-aways and 8 degrees of banking in the corners, with a clay surface that provides a true three-groove lane race track for three- and four-wide racing and fast-paced heart-pounding action for the race to the checkered flag.

The state-of-the-art facility features MUSCO stadium lighting, climate-controlled VIP suites, live video feed options, a professional sound system with radio broadcast and an indoor climate-controlled concession stand.

In addition to the USRA Modifieds, Friday night racing at the Outlaw Motor Speedway will feature 360 Mods, Pure Stocks and Hobby Stocks. The 2009 season is tentatively scheduled in early March.
