J.C. Morton won the USRA B-Mod main event.

J.C. Morton used the high line and the good fortune of lapped traffic to grab the lead away from J.C. Newell with two laps to go to secure the win and Mid-Season Championship in the USRA B-Mods on Friday at the Dallas County Speedway.

Morton, Newell and Robbe Ewing put on a great three-car battle for the win the entire race using the entire surface.

The top five following Morton, Newell and Ewing were Rex Harris and Donnie Jackson.

The first season of the American Racer USRA Stock Cars has seen some great racing.

Lyle Dietrich came into the night with an eight-point lead over John Gamble. The duo had plenty of company for the top spot with as many as six racers fighting for the lead.

A late-race caution for Dietrich turned around in corner two allowed Gamble to hold off a hard-charging Dylan Kepper to grab the win and Mid-Season Championship.

The top five following Gamble and Keeper to the finish were Jerry Brown, Jason Recker and Justin Allen.

John Gamble won the American Racer USRA Stock Car main event.

The second half of the Pitts Homes & Reality Bull Ring Cup begins next Friday, July 17.
