Eighty-two cars checked in for week two of racing on the river’s edge at the Lakeside Speedway for Seeburg Muffler Night. Race fans attending witnessed eleven heat races and six main events throughout the night’s program as drivers ran smoothly through preliminary action in one hour’s time.

Out-Pace USRA B-Mod heat winners were Eddie Schwope Jr., Tim Powell and Brad Smith. KEvin Anderson won the Holley USRA Stock Car heat race. USRA Modified heat winners were Nic Bidinger and Arkansas driver Tyler Wolff.

Gary Donaldson broke a four-year drought from victory lane when he took the checkered flag in the night’s Holley USRA Stock Car main event.

Powell picked up the victory in the 20-lap Out-Pace USRA B-Mod main event.

To wrap up the night, Wolff collected the victory in the USRA Modifieds.

Next Friday, May 5, is the Charlie Kraft Memorial. Divisions include USRA Modifieds, Holley USRA Stock Cars, Out-Pace USRA B-Mods, Factory Stocks, E-Mods and the first appearance of the year for the Midwest Mod-Lites. Friday admission prices are general admission $12, seniors (65+) and military $10, kids (ages 7-12) $6, children (ages 6 and under) free. Suites: adult $20, kids (ages 2-12) $10. Pit passes are $30, kids (ages 6 and under) are $10 for th pits. When at the track, tune your radio dial to 87.7 FM for a radio broadcast of all the action. Pits open at 4:30 p.m., spectator gates open at 5, the drivers meeting starts at 6:30, hot laps begin at 6:45 and racing kicks off at 7:30.
