Outlaws stock new souvenirs for Duel in the Dakotas
ARCADIA, Wis. -- The O’Reilly World of Outlaws Series had a whole new collection of souvenirs for sale during its inaugural event at Fox Ridge Speedway Tuesday.
Despite recent events that kept its vehicles from traveling to the races, "the greatest show on dirt" souvenir force was back in business as the series opened its tour of the northern Midwest.
The O’Reilly World of Outlaws Series is expecting its best car count of the season during the Sixth Annual Duel in the Dakotas at Red River Valley this weekend. The Thursday-through-Saturday, $148,575 event will feature the world’s most outstanding fire-breathing, mudslinging sprint car racers, including Danny Lasoski, Steve Kinser, Joey Saldana, Daryn Pittman, Jason Sides, Donny Schatz, Mark Kinser, Sammy Swindell, Tim Shaffer, Jason Meyers, Paul McMahan, Kraig Kinser, Brian Paulus, Blake Feese, Bob Bennett and Brian Carlson racing for the $20,000 first prize.
Schatz won the event a year ago, calling it "the biggest victory of his career." Steve Kinser has won eight main events at Red River Valley Speedway, while Swindell is a six-time winner at the high-banked, ½-mile oval. Thirteen drivers have combined to win the O’Reilly World of Outlaws Series’ first 27 events of its 25th Anniversary Season. WoO
