POCOLA, Okla. -- Michael Maggard picked up the biggest win of his career with a victory in the USRA Modified main event Sunday as the Tri-State Speedway hosted the 34th Annual Spooker presented by Buddy's Home Furnishings and CSi Radiator.

The 24-year-old from Springfield, Mo., earned the pole position for the feature race and then held off tenth-starting Tyler Wolff to earn the $2,500 winner's share of the prize money.

Stephen Muilenburg finished third with track champion George Martin fourth and Brett Hansen fifth.

Robbie Gates was the hard charger of the event, roaring to a seventh-place finish from 22nd on the starting grid.

In USRA B-Mod action, Ben Solberg held off USRA Weekly Racing Series title contenders J.C. Morton and Brad Smith to take the $1,200 win.

Muilenburg added a fourth-place finish to his Sunday efforts while Nick Newton rounded out the top 5.
