Allen captures USRA Modified thriller at Humboldt

HUMBOLDT, Kan. -- Friday night’s USRA/McCarthy Auto Group Modified feature at Humboldt Speedway was just about as good as it gets.

John Allen, defending points champion, locked horns with current points leader Ryan McAninch  and multi-time track champion Justin "Whitey" Folk  in an epic, paint-swapping, wall-banging battle that saw Allen emerge victorious after multiple lead changes.

McAninch was the runner-up with Folk third.

Tanner Mullins took fourth, Chase Sigg finished fifth.

Friday, June 21,  the Lucas Oil MLRA Late Model Series will be in action at "The Hummer," as well as a full show of regular classes. Ticket prices are $17 for adults, $15 for seniors, ages 6 to 12 are $5 with an adult and children 5 and under are free.
