WINSTON, Mo. (Oct. 11, 2025)—Another action-packed night of racing at I-35 Speedway is in the books. As the racing season is quickly coming to an end, 116 total cars across eight racing classes brought their best to the track this Saturday night.

Tonight was CARB Night presented by Team Sprayfoam. During intermission, CARB handed out the Kaster Awards to the third-place finisher in the first heat ran in each class. They also had a free-to-enter scooter giveaway for the kids.

Houston Johnson got back to work after picking up his USRA National Championship last weekend at the summit USRA Nationals at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland. Johnson grabbed his 17th feature win in the USRA Modifieds this racing season.

Brad Johnson didn’t make it easy though. Coming off a late-race restart, Brad Johnson took his shot at the lead, but Houston Johnson found the speed to pull away. Steven Glenn was third, Jason Pursley fourth, and Tyler Grooms finished fifth.

Houston Johnson holds a 554-point lead over Brad Johnson in the track points standings.

In the craziest race of the night, Austin Kaplan narrowly collected his fourth feature win this season in the USRA Stock Cars. Kaplan and Tyler Cadwallader were side by side coming off of turn four, and it was as close as it gets coming by the flag stand.

Track officials made sure they had it right before making the official call on who won, but that was a great finish between two elite USRA Stock Car drivers.

Shayne Bailey led many laps before finishing third, with Matthew Lance in fourth and Doug Keller fifth.

Anthony Robertson controls the track points, holding a 398-point lead over Keller.

Before tonight’s racing action, we held a moment of silence for one of our past racers, Dennis O’Neal, who recently passedf away. His son, Tyler O'Neal, regularly races at I-35 Speedfway in the USRA B-Mods, and tonight he had some extra help in the feature race.

Tyler O'Neal started on the front row and had to battle through some late-race restarts, but the No. 27 was the car to beat all race long. Chris Wright started 11th before finishing second, Josh Barnes was 3rd, Matt Avila finished fourth and Randy Smith Jr. took fifth.

Adam Dunwoodie holds a 566-point lead in track points over Londen McClure, and Chase Moulton is 672 points back.

Thank you to all the amazing race fans that came out for a perfect night for racing this past Saturday night and keeping the energy going all night long. Thank you to all our track officials and safety crew members for keeping everyone safe and providing an exciting night of racing. And one more big thanks to all the drivers and their crew members for bringing fast cars across all classes and your best to the track every Saturday night.

We will see everyone next Friday and Saturday, Oct. 17-18, as we welcome the Heartland Modified Tour back to I-35 Speedway for another action-packed night of dirt-track racing.
