Derick Grigsby won the USRA Limited Mod main event.

GREENWOOD, La. (Oct. 10, 2025)—On Friday, the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series kicked off the Bayou Classic at Boothill Speedway with thrilling action in the USRA Limited Mod and Sunoco USRA Factory Stock divisions.

Competitors battled fiercely on the dirt oval, with Derick Grigsby of Marshall, Texas, and Justin Whitehead of Texarkana, Texas, emerging as feature race winners in their respective classes.

In the USRA Limited Mod feature, Grigsby charged from third to claim the victory. Dustin Henigan, also from Marshall, Texas, followed closely in second.

Phil Dixon of Crosby, Texas, made an impressive run from 20th to finish third, while Jason Ingalls of Longview, Texas, took fourth. Coty Tupper of Blanchard rounded out the top five.

The Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks feature saw Whitehead dominate from the fourth starting spot to secure the win. Bo Perry of Bossier City finished a strong second, with Taten Perkins of Oakdale taking third.

Jace Reid of Nashville, Ark., claimed fourth, and Logan Gordon of West Monroe rounded out the top five.

The Bayou Classic continues Saturday at Boothill Speedway, promising more high-octane racing action.
