USRA Iron Man champion to be crowned at Deer Creek


SPRING VALLEY, Minn. (Sept. 23, 2025)—The USRA KS Engineering Iron Man Stock Car Series driven by Terminator Chassis will run two shows, and then crown the 2025 series champion this weekend during the 27th Annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree at the  Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn., this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 26-27.

Derek Green of Granada, MN leads the championship standings chase with 1296-points. Pat Graham from Ankeny, IA sits second with 1224 and is 72-points behind. Brandon Hare of Elma, IA is third in points, just one point behind Graham with 1223-points. Myles Michehl of Fort Dodge, Iowa is fourth with 1173-points and Rodney Schweizer from Kansas City, KS if fifth with 1171-points.

Green and Hare are tied with three wins each, while Dylan Clinton, Graham and Michehl each have two wins. Jeffrey Abbey, Austin Bouzek, Jason Minnehan, Brayden Gjere, Jason Schlangen, Chanse Hollatz, Justin Luinenberg and Pat Graham have one win a piece.

The series kicked off with a three-day show at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO on March 27-29. Derek Green topped a 46-car field on night one and Jeffrey Abbey topped the 49-car field on night two and Rodney Scheiezer won the finale.

The series returned to action for a three day swing which started at Fairmont Raceway in Fairmont, MN on May 2 which was won by Myles Michehl. The next day on May 3, Dylan Clinton won the show at Sports Park Raceway in Fort Dodge, IA. On May 4 Brandon Hare took the win at Mason City Motor Speedway in Mason City, IA.

A couple of weeks later, the series shifted to the Show-Me state of Missouri. The US 36 Speedway in Osborn, MO raced on May 16 with Austin Bouzek the winner. On May 17, Jason Minnehan topped the show at I-35 Speedway in Winston, MO.

The Hancock County Speedway in Britt, IA was next up for the Ironman Series on May 23. Brayden Gjere topped a large 46-car field. The next evening the Winneshiek Raceway in Decorah, IA hosted the series and Jason Schlangen scored the win.

The Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids, IA was next on the schedule for June 6 and Chanse Hollatz took the win. The Mason City Motor Speedway hosted it’s second show on the tour on May 8 and Justin Luinenberg stood atop of the heap that evening.

The I-35 Speedway once again hosted the series on July 12 and Pat Graham became the 13th different winner in the first 13 shows. The series roared back into action on July 25 and 26th at the Hamilton County Speedway in Webster, City, IA. Dylan Clinton became the first repeat winner on night one. Brandon Hare would score his second win the next night.

After close to a month break, the series continued with a three race swing in Missouri. The Electric City Speedway in Butler, MO hosted the first night on August 21 and Derek Green won his second series race.

Pat Graham would get his second win at the Calloway Raceway in Fulton, MO on August 22. At the Scotland County Speedway in Memphis, MO, Derek Green won again for his third win on the tour on August 23.

This past weekend the Mason City Motor Speedway was the scene for two more Ironman shows. Myles Michehl topped the 32-car field for his second win the first night and Brandon Hare nabbed his third win on day number two.

After 20-shows the series has had 173-different drivers compete. The series has averaged 30-cars for each show. The highest being at Lucas Oil Speedway with 49 on March 28 and the lowest was 14 on August 22 at Calloway Raceway.
