Johnson, Kaplan, Isaacs score Scobee Powerline Night wins at I-35 Speedway

WINSTON, Mo. (July 12, 2025)—A night of high-octane racing at I-35 Speedway saw drivers from multiple classes battling for top honors in the USRA) Summit Weekly Racing Series on Scobee Powerline Night.
In the USRA Modified feature, Houston Johnson of Kansas City secured the win after starting in third position. Johnson, who also finished second in his heat race, overtook polesitter Nick Roberts early in the race.
Roberts, from Des Moines, Iowa, held on for a strong second-place finish, while Steven Glenn of Hamilton rounded out the top three.
The USRA Stock Car feature race was a dramatic one, with Austin Kaplan of Collins, Iowa, claiming victory after starting in the sixth position. Kaplan showcased a dominant performance, moving through the field to take the checkered flag.
Tyler Cadwallader of Amazonia, who started ninth, finished second, while Jayden Bears of Kansas City took third. The race also saw impressive runs from Rodney Schweizer of Kansas City, Kan., and Kristchon Hisel of Winston, who climbed from the 10th and 13th starting positions, respectively, to finish in the top five.
Ethan Isaacs of Bonner Springs, Kan., emerged victorious in the USRA B-Mod feature. After winning his heat race, Isaacs started sixth in the main event and quickly worked his way to the front.
Adam Dunwoodie of Polo finished second, followed by Daniel Harris of Excelsior Springs. Chase Moulton of Altamont and John Ross of Liberty completed the top five.
