Brandon Davis won the USRA Kevko Northern Lights Modified Series points title.

FOUNTAIN CITY, Wis. (Sept. 6, 2025)—It wasn’t without its challenges and a little bit of controversy over the weekend, but Brandon Davis of Haysville, Minn., finished third Saturday night at the Mississippi Thunder Speedway, which was enough to capture the inaugural championship for the USRA Kevko Racing Northern Lights Modified Series presented by Real Racing Wheels.

for the second time this weekend and fourth of the season, Joe Chisholm of Osage, Iowa, took the checkered flag in the USRA Modified main event. He was followed by Josh Angst of Winona, Minn., Davis, Jim Chisholm of Osage, Iowa, and Jacob Bleess of Chatfield, Minn.

Bleess, who came into the weekend as the only other driver mathematically alive for the season-long title, came up 25 points behind Davis in the final standings. Parker Hale of Grand Meadow, Minn., Josh Angst of Winona, Minn., and Alex Williamson of Rushford, Minn.

In other Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series action, Chris Hovden of Cresco, Iowa, claimed the victory in the USRA Stock Car feature. Rounding out the top five were Brayden Gjere of Mabel, Minn., Taylor Skauge of Caledonia, Minn., Andrew Bleess of Chatfield, Minn., and Dylan Clinton of West Union, Iowa.

Dustin Kruse of Baltic, S.D., won the USRA B-Mod feature. Taylor Skauge of Caledonia, Minn., finished second, with Alex Williamson of Rushford, Minn., Les Duellman of Winona, Minn., and Caden Neisius of Hastings, Minn., completing the top five.

Cam Panitzke of Lonsdale, Minn., earned the win in the USRA Late Model feature. Finishing in second was Harley Dais of Winona, Minn. He was followed by Jason McFadden of Jim Falls, Triton Krause of Fountain City, and Cade Nelson of Hermantown, Minn.

The USRA Hobby Stock main event went to Steve Larson of Decorah, Iowa. Kolby Goepel of Britt, Iowa, came in second, with Dakota Koenig of Cochrane, Gavin Bartel of Kasson, Minn., and Scott Spilde of Cresco, Iowa, rounding out the top five.
