Shields tops Full Fender Blowout at Lakeside Speedway


KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Aug. 23, 2025)—Lakeside Speedway hosted the final night of the 70th Anniversary Full Fender Blowout on Saturday, with Kacey Shields of Kansas City, Mo., securing the feature victory in the USRA Stock Cars.

In the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series main event, Shields drove to victory with Randy Foote of Stanton, Iowa, and Dylan Holt of Topeka, Kan., completing the top-three podium.

Jaylen Wettengel had a strong performance, moving up from 15th to finish fourth while Jason Newman of Kearney, Mo., rounded out the top five finishers.
