King of The Hill qualifying complete at Boothill

GREENWOOD, La. (July 25, 2025)—The 11th Annual King of The Hill kicked off its first night of racing on Friday at Boothill Speedway, featuring intense heat race action across multiple classes in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series.

While Saturday's show promises a $10,000 payout for the Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks, Friday's heats set the stage for the weekend's competition.

In the USRA B-Mod heats, fierce competition saw drivers vying for prime starting positions in future events. Coty Tupper of Blanchard led the class, followed by Colby Williams and Conner Williams, both from Sibley. Caleb Dillard of Robeline secured the fourth position, with Levi Wilkerson of Rusk, Texas, rounding out the top five.

The USRA Limited Mod division also saw drivers push their machines to the limit during their heat races. Stephen Guidry of Marksville emerged at the top, with Britton Moore of Texarkana, Ark., taking second. Lawson Shows of Many finished third, followed by Chase Hatton of De Berry, Texas, and Cody Smith of Kaufman, Texas, completing the top five.

The Sunoco USRA Factory Stock class, with its significant Saturday payout on the line, delivered thrilling heat races. Logan Gordon of West Monroe consistently performed at the front of the pack, securing the top spot.

Derick Grigsby of Marshall, Texas, finished second, while Justin Whitehead of Texarkana, Texas, claimed third. Chris Sawyer of Robeline was fourth, and Cody Myers of Bossier City rounded out the top five.

The USRA Tuner class was the only division to run a feature race on Friday night, providing the crowd with a definitive winner. Josh Worn of Benton took the checkered flag, with Clay Gardner of Lewisville, Ark., finishing second.

Michael E. McEachern of Minden secured third, followed by Jackson Mourad of Haughton in fourth, and Tyler Ellis of Murfreesboro, Ark., completing the top five.

Racing continues Saturday night for the conclusion of the 11th Annual King of The Hill, with the highly anticipated $10,000-to-win Sunoco USRA Factory Stock feature.
