Kidwell charges to fourth straight at Humboldt
HUMBOLDT, Kan. (June 27, 2025)—Friday night’s American Legion Night at Humboldt Speedway brought electrifying Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series action to the quarter-mile dirt oval in Humboldt, Kan.
Fans witnessed intense battles as drivers from across the region competed for supremacy in the USRA B-Mod class.
In the feature, Tyler Kidwell of Chanute powered from third to secure the victory, bolstering his points lead. Matthew Kay, also of Chanute, claimed second, with Brian McGowen of Pittsburg finishing third.
Lucas Isaacs of Bonner Springs, Kan., took fourth, and Jeffrey Kaup of Woodward, Okla., completed the top five.
The points standings show Kidwell leading with 690 points, including five wins and seven runner-up finishes. Kay follows with 597 points, then Donald McIntosh of Chanute with 524.
