FAIRMONT, Minn. (May 30, 2025)—Fairmont Raceway lit up Friday night for the USRA B-Mod Battle presented by Day Plumbing, delivering intense competition across multiple classes in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series. A packed field of drivers battled it out, with standout performances in the USRA Modifieds, Stock Cars, B-Mods, Hobby Stocks, and Tuners features thrilling the crowd.

In the USRA Modifieds A Feature, Dustin Wiederhoeft of Fairmont took the checkered flag after starting first. Roger Nielsen of Fairmont followed in second, while Josh Ruby of Lakota, Iowa, claimed third from fifth. Lyle Sathoff of Sherburn secured fourth, and Don Gerritsen Jr. of Rock Rapids, Iowa, rounded out the top five in a tight eight-car field.

Dustin Kruse of Baltic, S.D., dominated the USRA B-Mod Feature, climbing from fourth to first to pocket the $1,500 top prize. Ty Griffith of Blairsburg, Iowa, took second from sixth, while James Richert of Comfrey charged from ninth to third. Jacob Korte of Fairmont and Klay Beemer of Fairmont completed the top five.

The USRA Stock Car Feature saw Jason Minnehan of Churdan, Iowa, hold his starting position to notch the win. Luke Sathoff of Jackson took second, followed by Chance Larson of Welcome in third, who surged from eighth despite a DNS in the heat. Cade Lehr of Fairmont finished fourth, with Malayna Johnson of Winnebago in fifth.

In the USRA Hobby Stock Feature, Gavin Bussinger of Granada powered from third to claim victory. Parker Anderson of Welcome rebounded from a heat DNS to take second, followed by Jeremy Wagner of Graettinger, Iowa, in third. Jeremy Crimmins of Fort Dodge, Iowa, and Corey Black of Mankato finished fourth and fifth, respectively.

The USRA Tuner Feature saw Slade Fitzgerald of Sherburn start first and hold on for the win. Nate Coopman of Mankato took second, with Jerry Coopman of Mankato in third.
