GREENWOOD, La. (May 24, 2025)—Boothill Speedway hosted Night 2 of the Triple Crown Throwdown presented by RaceON on Saturday night featuring the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series.

The event featured intense battles across four divisions, with top drivers vying for substantial purses: $1,500 to win in Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks, $1,000 in USRA Modifieds and $750 in USRA Limited Mods.

The Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks A Feature delivered a fierce contest, with C.J. Howell of Dry Prong taking the $1,500 prize after a hard-fought battle. Justin Whitehead of Texarkana, Texas, finished second, strengthening his Triple Crown points lead after his Friday win at Sabine Speedway.

Dalton Faulkner of Cut and Shoot, Texas, took third, while Neil Kemp of Mineral Springs, Ark., charged from 22nd to fourth. Josh Martin of Colfax completed the top five.

Whitehead, the 2024 USRA Limited Mod and Sunoco USRA Factory Stock national champion, continues to assert his dominance in the three-day points chase.

In the USRA B-Mod Feature, Coty Tupper of Blanchard led from the pole to claim victory. Phil Dixon of Crosby, Texas, secured second, followed by Boone Evans of Bullard, Texas, in third.

Talan Willis of Elizabeth took fourth, and Jeremy Haddox of Ruston rounded out the top five on the 1/3-mile clay oval.

The USRA Modified Feature saw veteran Chris Henigan of Marshall, Texas, take the checkered flag after starting fourth. Chase Hatton of De Berry, Texas, finished second, with Sean Gaddis of Diana, Texas, in third. Kale Murphrey of Tullos grabbed fourth, and Kenny Gaddis, also of Diana, Texas, completed the top five in a thrilling 25-lap battle.

In the USRA Limited Mod Feature, Derick Grigsby of Marshall, Texas, dominated from the pole to earn the $750 prize. Kevin DuPont of Carencro took second, followed by Colton Davis of Prairieville in third. Dustin Henigan of Marshall, Texas, claimed fourth, and Hunter O’Keefe of Texarkana, Texas, rounded out the top five.

The USRA Tuner Feature saw Joshua Worn of Bossier City take the win from the pole. Tyler Ellis of Murfreesboro, Ark., finished second, followed by Clay Gardner of Lewisville, Ark., in third. Sean Leasure of Mansfield, Texas, recovered from a heat race disqualification to take fourth, and Jackson Mourad of Haughton rounded out the top five.

The third and final night of the Triple Crown Throwdown takes place Sunday at the Ark-La-Tex Speedway in Vivian, featuring USRA Modifieds, USRA Limited Mods, USRA Tuners joining the featured Sunoco USRA Factory Stock division. For more information, visit www.racearklatex.com.
