Jobin, Moseley shine at Legacy Speedway


GRANTS, N.M. (May 9, 2025)—Legacy Speedway saw a pair of familiar faces in Victory Lane on Friday night. Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series racers delivered thrilling competition in the USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods, captivating fans with high-speed action on the historic track.

In the USRA Stock Car feature, track points leader Devon Jobin of Alamogordo powered to victory from the second starting spot. Herman Garcia of Española secured second, followed by Rick Boelter of Los Lunas in third. Larry Starks of Witch Wells, Ariz., claimed fourth, and Carl Morlang of Grants rounded out the top five.

The USRA B-Mod feature saw track points leader Rob Moseley of Los Lunas charge from the 10th starting position to take the win. Chris Morlang of Grants finished second, with Tracy Harris of Albuquerque in third. Christopher Ward of Bluewater took fourth, and Kimry Ward of Grants completed the top five.

Legacy Speedway, a New Mexico racing institution since 1969, returns to action Friday, May 30, for Dirt Track Thunder Night featuring the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series. USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods are headlining the action, with Cruisers, Micros and A-Mods also be racing.
