Derek green won the USRA Stock Car main event.

The Karl Chevrolet Hamilton County Speedway sprang into action on Friday for Night 1 of the 15th Annual Spring Classic, part of the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series.

The historic Webster City, Iowa, track welcomed a strong field of competitors in USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods and USRA Hobby Stocks, delivering intense battles for fans.

In the USRA Stock Car feature, Derek Green from Granada, Minn., claimed the victory after starting sixth. Myles Michehl from Fort Dodge took second, followed by Dylan Clinton from West Union in third.

Parker Slagle from Eagle Grove finished fourth, and Levi Vander Weide from Sioux Falls, S.D., rounded out the top five.

The USRA B-Mod feature saw Bryer McCoy from Webster City lead the way for the win from the pole. Jake Richards from Lansing, Kan., advanced from eighth to second, and Kaeden Bronner from Austin, Minn., secured third.

Klay Beemer from Fairmont, Minn., finished fourth. Oliver Sackett from Pierson completed the top five, charging from 13th.

In the USRA Hobby Stock feature, Jeremy Crimmins from Fort Dodge emerged victorious, moving up from fourth.

Bryce Sommerfeld, also from Fort Dodge, finished second, and Joshua Monson from Clear Lake took third after starting eighth. Jeremy Wegner placed fourth, and Scott Dobel closed out the top five.

The opening night of the Spring Classic set a high standard for competition, with drivers showcasing precision and determination.

Racing continues Saturday with the USMTS Modifieds joined by USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks, USRA Tuners, and Crown Vics. Gates open at 3 p.m., with hot laps at 6 p.m. and racing to follow.
