Due to excessive rain in the area over the last couple of days and with more rain and cool weather expected through the weekend, Lucas Oil Speedway's scheduled Pitts Homes and Realty Weekly Racing Series opener on Saturday has been rained out.

With an unyielding forecast that also includes unseasonably cold weather by Saturday night, Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Danny Lorton said the call to cancel was made early for the convenience of drivers and fans.

The USRA Stock Cars make-up feature, from the Full Fender Madness on March 22, will now be made up at the start of the April 19th Easter Bowl Enduro 150 program.
