Sabine Speedway ignited the 2025 season of the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series on Friday, with a night of high-octane action for the fans.

In the USRA Limited Mod feature, Ethan Bailes of Elizabeth started on the pole and never looked back, steering his No. E8 machine to victory. Colton Davis of Prairieville battled from fourth to claim second. Hornbeck's Joseph Shirley started second before rounding out the podium with a hard-fought third-place finish.

The Sunoco USRA Factory Stock main event brought even more drama with C.J. Howell of Dry Prong starting first and holding off a charging field to take the win. Joshua Martin of Colfax crossed the line in second while Florine racer Ross Cook completed the top three.

Up next is the Gator Nationals set for Friday and Saturday, March 28-29, and featuring USRA B-Mods, USRA Limited Mods and Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks both nights. Sportster and FWD classes will also be racing.

Expect hard-hitting, fender-rubbing action as the Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks race for $2,000 to win on Saturday night plus a $1,000 bonus to the best average finish between the two nights.

The Sabine Speedway is a 1/4-mile semi-banked red clay oval located 1.6 miles north of SR 6 on US 171, then 0.3 mile east to 470 Long Rd, Many, LA 71449.
