Super exciting edge of your seat racing continues this Saturday, August 24, at the legendary I-35 Speedway. It will be Team Spray Foam Night highlighted by the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series featuring USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods.

E Modifieds, Pure Stocks, Midwest Limited Late Models, Sport Compacts, Junior Sport Compacts will also be in action, along with guest class Open Vintage Cars.

The battle for a championship in the weekly classes continues.

In the USRA Modifieds, Tyler Hibner holds a 118-point advantage over Houston Johnson. Both drivers are in the top five in USRA national points.

USRA Stock Car points leader Nic Hanes leads Cory Myers for the track championship, and you will find Hanes, Myers and Chris Dishong in the top 20 nationally.

 In the super tight battle for the USRA B-Mod championship, Mark Anderson leads Chase Moulton by only four points.

For the fans... I-35 Speedway is located at exit 64 off the interstate, ten miles north of Cameron, Missouri. Super-easy access. Parking is always free. Mom-approved restrooms. Need more information check out I-35speedway.net.

Admission prices this Saturday: adults $15, seniors (62+) and military $12, suite tickets $20 and youth ages 18 and under gt in for free.

The races start at 7 p.m.

A variety of track food favorites are available at the Trackside Bar & Grill above turn one serving tenderloins, hot fries, chicken strips, burgers and an assortment of appetizers. The Sugar Shack near turn one is the spot for funnel cakes, deep-fried Oreos, root beer floats and pretzels. The main concession inside the entrance gate near turn four is the place to find walking tacos, hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, candy and much more.

Be on the lookout for the Molle Auto Group upgrades with suite seats, pit passes and food vouchers each week.

For the racers... The pit gate opens at 4, drivers meeting and pill draw close 6, hot laps run from 6:20-6:50 and the first race is scheduled for 7.

Pit passes are $40 (drivers $35), youth ages 6-10 are $25 and kids 5 and under are free.

I-35 Speedway Driver Registration: Register with I-35 Speedway (myracepass.com) or print form at the track's website, complete and bring with you. One-night temporary registration is $15.

USRA Classes: You must be registered with USRA, only temporary one-night licenses can be sold at the track $10. Alternative B-Mod USRA rules apply. Check out the USRA website at usraracing.com.

Fuel (110 and Premium) is available for sale at the track. We are stocked with American Racer Tires and Real Wheels (contact Mike Johnson 816-365-7592). Also available are Champion Race Products (oil, power steering fluid, brake fluid, and gear oil).

Minors (17 and under): Everyone age 17 and under must have a completed Minor's release to enter the pits.

Competitors Minor's Release: Must have a completed Minor's release for all competitors 17 and under AND it must include a copy of your birth certificate with either a valid state stamp or authentic seal.
