KASSON, Minn. -- It was an absolute picture perfect night for stock car racing at the Dodge County Speedway this Sunday.

The USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mod feature started off with cars five-wide in turn two. Kylie Kath took the lead while Greg Mattick stalked him for the first part of the race. Kath extended his lead and the racing behind the top two was good.

Erik Kanz, Billy Steinberg and Shaun Walski had a tremendous race and at times were three-wide for position. A late-race caution set up a two-lap shootout to the finish. Kath took off for his first win of the season. Steinberg had a great charge to finish second with Mattick Kanz and Jacob Bleess in the top 5.

Stevenson Insurance of Kasson gave out an extra $200 to the winner of the USRA RHS Modifieds that took the winner’s share to $800.

Jason Cummins and Brandon Davis put on a whale of a show for the first half of the race. Cummins ran the extreme high line and Davis was right on the tires at the bottom of the track.

They were even for several laps - Davis would lead and then Cummins would take the advantage. Cummins got the lead on lap 7, but on lap 10 he jumped over the cushion in turn 4 and Davis assumed the lead.

Again on lap 15 the duo was even for the lead. Cummins got the lead briefly, but Davis reclaimed the top spot soon after. Davis took off from there to score his second win with Cummins second. Josh Angst finished third with Steve Wetzstein and Ben Mattick in the top 5.
