MEEKER, Okla. -- Just when it appeared that the Brill’s Motor Speedway had dodged the rain clouds that hung just north of the speedway all evening, a light rain finally hit just after intermission forcing postponement of most of the feature events.

With 74 cars in the pits, including 16 USRA Sprint Cars, all the heats were completed and the USRA Western Flyer HotMod feature was underway when rain begin falling during a final-lap restart.

With the track getting slick, the 19-car field slid around the 3/8-mile oval for one final lap to take the checkered with Joey Buntin getting the win.

Everyone else was not as fortunate and make-up features will not be run prior to next Friday's program.

USRA Sprint Car, USRA RHS Modified, USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Car, Mini-Stock and E-Sprint features are scheduled to be completed at the start of the Friday, June 17, program.

A full show of heats and features will follow, along with the Late Models.

Gates open at 6 p.m. and at 7:30 the make-up features begin. The regular program starts at 8 p.m.
