Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series returns to Lucas Oil Speedway in 2024


Lucas Oil Speedway has unveiled its 2024 tentative schedule this week, and will once again feature the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series on Saturday nights throughout the season, along with traditional major events.

Among the highlights are many special events including the track's weekly classes of USRA Modifieds, Medieval USRA Stock Cars and USRA-Mods.

The track opens with a test 'n' tune on March 30 and the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series opener is scheduled for April 20.

One of the biggest Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series events on the schedule—the annual Casey's Thursday Night Thunder featuring Kids Night and fireworks is set for Thursday, July 4.

Season champions will be determined at the Rempfer Memorial Bill Roberts Chevrolet-Buick Season Championships on Saturday, Aug. 24.

The 11th Annual Summit USRA Nationals will run a bit earlier in 2024, set for Tuesday-Saturday, Sept. 17-21.

Lucas Oil Speedway is located at Highways 83 and 54 in Wheatland, Missouri. A campground with shower and bathroom facilities is also available. With its entrance located just outside the pit gate this sprawling scenic camping facility will continue to enhance the racing experience at the Diamond of Dirt Tracks.
