I-35 Speedway action continues Saturday


I-35 Speedway, fast action, lots of racecars, excitement, it all continues this Saturday, July 2, with our weekly racing program plus the Midwest Lightning Sprints.

This week is the Metcalf Carstar Night at the Races weekly racing program. It’s July and there will be five Saturday nights of racing this month. Racing action begins at 7:00 P.M. Pit gates open 3 hours before race time and the grandstands open 30 minutes after the pit gates open.

Admission prices are $15 for Adults, $12 for Seniors (62 and older) and Military, and an I-35 Speedway tradition those 18 and younger (ID may be requested) are Free.

Super easy access to I-35 Speedway, exit 64 and turn east a short quarter mile. Free Parking always. Concessions located throughout the facility serving your favorites, like sweet, tasty funnel cakes, large tenderloins, hot fries, walking tacos, hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, and tea, water, pop, or beer.

The Trackside Bar and Grill overlooks Turn 1, great place to sit, watch the races, and have dinner.

Check this out the USRA Modifieds have a three-way battle for the championship between Tyler Hibner, Houston Johnson and Lee Hibner with only 36 points separating the first to third and furthermore there have been nine different winners in 13 nights of racing.

Medieval USRA Stock Cars is a battle between father and son for the championship between Nic Hanes and Kameron Hanes and this class has eight different winners in 13 events.

In the USRA B-Mods only two points separate Tyler Cadwallader and Corey Meyers with Michael Taylor lurking in third.
