Noah Grinstead won the USRA B-Mod main event.

A cool and crisp evening greeted everyone at Deer Creek Speedway this week. The race program went on as scheduled and 106 cars signed in for action for night number two. This week’s show was supported by Gjere Construction and Gerald Peter of Channel Seed along with Randy and Sandy Norby.

There was another large field of USRA B-Mods this week with 39 in attendance. Five heat races and two "B" features determined the 26-car field for the 18-lap main event.

Noah Grinstead, Alex Schubbe and Trevor Fecht ran three-wide early on until Fecht spun on lap two. Grinstead and Schubbe had a good race going until Grinstead took over on lap four.

From there, Grinstead cruised to the win with Schubbe second. Joe Chisholm came from eighth to third while Brandon Hare was fourth and Zach Brom fifth.

Shawn Peter led lap 1 of the Medieval USRA Stock Cars but that did not last long. Kyle Falck and Cole Mather went three-wide with Peter and Falck came out the leader on lap 2.

Travis Shipman and Brayden Gjere used the top groove to drive towards the front. Falck fended off a brief challenge from Shipman and then drove to his second consecutive win.

Shipman finished second with Gjere third. Mather finished fourth and Blake Adams rounded out the top five.

The USRA Modifieds had a strong field of 26 cars start their 25-lap feature. Brandon Davis jumped to the lead off of row 1 while Dustin Sorensen and Lucas Schott gave chase. Sorensen ran the high line to perfection and took the lead on lap 6.

A caution on lap 9 halted the race, but not Sorensen who Sorensen dominated from there and led the rest of the race to take the win.

Davis finished in the second spot with Schott third. Jeremy Nelson had a good run in fourth and Rodney Sanders took the fifth position.
