Grays Harbor Raceway loses another race to weather

ELMA, Wash. -- Unfortunately the Grays Harbor Raceway has cancelled their Saturday, June 30, event due to weather. The 3/8 dirt oval looks to get back on track with the 2012 season on Saturday, July 7, for their 4th of July Firework Spectacular and Mid-Season Championship. Classes in action for that event will be all five of the regular classifications which include 360 Sprints, USRA Modifieds, USAC Ford Focus Midgets, Hobby Stocks and Hornets.

Two big events are on hand for the end of the month which will treat fans to some great racing. The two-day American Sprint Car Series-National Tour dates on July 20th and 21st will once again conclude the Speedweek Northwest and is sure to be a well attended event both in the grandstands as well as by drivers and teams. The month will close out with the annual Northwest Modified National presented by Shipwreck Beads which is one of the most prestigious races to win on the west coast.
