Long-time Dallas-Fort Worth businessman and racer Jason Troutman of Sunnyvale has reached terms on the acquisition of RPM Speedway in Crandall from Wesley and Pat Manry.

A top prize of $1,000 is up for grabs for the USRA Modified feature winner this Friday, Aug. 10, at the RPM Speedway of Texas. Several other awards have been posted, along with some great prizes for the fans.

This Friday, May 18, the RPM Speedway will be hosting a driver’s tire rolling contest during intermission.

After heavy showers struck the area Monday evening, RPM Speedway has chosen to pull the plug on the race program for this Friday. Racing returns next Friday, March 30.
