FOUNTAIN CITY, Wis. - A fast Fastenal Night was on hand at Mississippi Thunder Speedway on Tuesday for the rained out USMTS show from June 25. Also on the card were USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mods and other weeky classes.

Chad Kosidowski quickly was sought out by Erik Kanz for the lead in the USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mod feature. Brandon Hare shot to second ahead of Kanz, but Kanz defended the spot as he shot back for the lead over Hare and Kosidowski. Kosidowski took his turn at the lead again when Hare shot between Kosidowski and Kanz to take first.

A second caution by Parker Hale ended his night and lined the field back up for a restart. Hare and Kosidowski were quickly hunted down by Ben Anderson and Bob Timm as the pair put Kanz back to fifth. Troy Langowski worked his way through the field into fifth place while Anderson and Kosidowski raced for the lead.

While Anderson and Kosidowski raced close and hard for second place behind Hare, the two spun in turn one. Kosidowski slowed his car up by the wall with front end damage while Anderson was given second place on the restart. Hare, Anderson and Timm flew three wide for the lead, but Hare managed to pull away slightly while Timm continued to chase him down.

Hare and Anderson were in a prolonged fight for the lead, but Anderson was able to make the move he needed to get out front. Timm then shot into second and was followed by Langowski in third. Hare held onto fourth by that time as Anderson pulled away. Timm and Langowski shared a continuous side by side battle for second when rookie Kylie Kath wove into fourth place ahead of Hare.

Lap after lap, Langowski and Timm ran side by side for second place which allowed Kath to gain ever so slightly on the pair. Langowski finally made a break for it and got into second place alone.

Anderson registered another win followed by Langowski. Kath finished a solid third followed by Timm and Hare.

Friday, July 16, will be presented by Lou Fegers Racing Equipment. USRA RHS Modifieds and USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mods plus other classes are on tap with regular racing action at 7 p.m. Coming up on Friday, July 23, will be the Rivercity Rumble Modified Special. USRA RHS Modifieds and USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mods will run in addition to Street Stocks, 600 Mini Mods, and A/B Mini Mods.
