One hundred and one cars checked Saturday in for McCarthy Auto Group Championship Night at I-35 Speedway as we crowned our 2022 track champions and had spooks, goblins, superheroes and princesses all in attendance to watch the best racing for your buck.

At intermission the kids were treated to a night of trick-or-treating as drivers, crews and track personnel passed out some candy and toys to the youngsters in attendance. 

Colin Pierce picked up his second USRA B-Mod win of the season as he cruised into victory lane. Corey Myers put the pressure on but had to settle for second as he had a pretty good month of October. Tyler Cadwallader came on at the end to finish third, followed by Michael Taylor III and Steven Makar.

Nic Hanes picked up win number seven in the Medieval USRA Stock Car division as fans were treated to four- and sometimes five-wide racing in the feature. Jeff Dixon challenged early but finished second. Brad Derry was third, Rodney Schweizer was fourth and Doug Keller, an early leader, finished fifth.

Tyler Hibner capped off a spectacular season in the USRA Modifieds that saw him compete for a Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series national points title with his 11th feature win of the season. Houston Johnson motored to a second-place finish, Darren Shaw was third, Ben Stockton, who raced more this past month than the last few seasons. finished fourth and Tyler Grooms came home fifth.
