Harris, Bouzek, Moore winners at I-35 Speedway

Even with cool temps 115 cars jam packed the pits at I-35 Speedway for the McCarthy Auto Group season opener.

At the end of the night fans would see 7 familiar faces in McCarthy Auto Group victory lane with one brand new winner.

Cole Moore had some good runs last season after purchasing a USRA B-Mod.

Two races into this season and he had a classic battle with Casey Burnett and motored to his first career win.

Tim Galvan would sneak up to finish second followed by Corey Myers, Jace Whitt and Jeff Jackson.

Austin Bouzek started off last season by winning the first five Medieval USRA Stock Car features.

Two weeks into this season and he celebrates his firsst victory of the 2022 campaign.

Bouzek battled his cousins, last week's winner Nic Hanes and Nic's son Kameron Hanes who would finish second and third respectively.

Aaron Sauter and Thomas Ground would finish fourth and fifth.


Austin Bouzek won the Medieval USRA Stock Car main event.

Daniel Harris and Tyler Hibner battled it out lap after lap for the USRA Modified feature win.

As Hibner led, Harris continued to put on the pressure on the high side and the low side and eventually slipped by for the win.

Hibner finished second followed by defending champion Houston Johnson, Lee Hibner and Tyler Grooms.

Join us next Saturday night for Tompkins Industry's night at I 35 Speedway, the first 36 kids in the gate get to build a pinewood derby car from 5-7 p.m.
