The Vado Speedway Park will be back in action this Friday and Saturday, March 11-12, with the Winter Meltdown featuring two big nights of USRA Modifieds, USRA B-Mods and Medieval USRA Stock Cars plus INEX Legends.

The Winter Meltdown, which started in 1995, enters it's 24th year after a barnburner event in 2021 which saw Bumper Jones top Johnny Scott in thrilling fashion both nights to claim the 2021 title.

The event features a $2,000 top prize for the USRA Modifieds on Friday night and $3,000 winner's check Saturday, along with a $500-to-win event each night for the Medieval USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods.

The Winter Meltdown has seen some great racing during the long history of this event. Former Winter Meltdown champions include:
