Mitchell Franklin won the USRA B-Mod main event.

After taking a week off, Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series action fired back up at the Lebanon Midway Speedway in both the Medieval USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods with Mitchell Franklin wheeling his B-Mods to his second win of the season and Robbie Jones fending off repeated challenges for his first feature win.

In the USRA B-Mod feature, Franklin fired from the outside front row starting spot while holding back points leader Dayton Pursley for the 15-lap feature.

Franklin opened as much as a five-car-length advantage while heat race winner Chris Tonoli was fast on the long runs but just ran out of time in the main event.

The Medieval USRA Stock Car feature had lots of excitement as Jones got the jump from the pole with Dylan Keepper close behind.

All eyes were watching from row three as "The Buckhorn Bullet" David Hendrix and Rob White were working traffic.

Following a lap-nine caution, Hendrix fired too hard on the restart and spun, bringing out the yellow and going to the rear.

Jones then had to hold off the father-son Whit team as Hendrix was coming through the pack.

Jones kept both Whites at bay in taking his first win with Bryan White, Rob White, Hendrix and Keepper completing the top five.

Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series action continues next Friday night with Medieval USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods along with Super Stocks, Pure Stocks and Midwest Mods in action.

Racing starts at 8 p.m.
