Rancho Milagro USRA Fall Nationals set for Oct. 22-24 at Vado Speedway Park

Track owner and current USRA Modified competitor Royal Jones won the Rancho Milagro USRA Fall Nationals in 2002.
The state-of-the-art Vado Speedway Park in Vado, New Mexico, is poised to host one of the biggest events in the three-year-old facility’s history with the running of the 21st Annual Rancho Milagro USRA Fall Nationals on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 22-24.
The event, which is a late-season staple for USRA Modifieds, Medieval USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods was not held last year due to COVID-19, but track owner Royal Jones and General Manager Chris Stepan are blowing the roof off the 2021 event by offering an event-record $21,000 winner’s prize for the USRA Modifieds and identical $2,100 top prizes for the Medieval USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods.
Qualifying nights for all three divisions will be held Friday and Saturday to set the lineups for Sunday’s finale.
In a change from previous years, passing points will be totaled after the Friday and Saturday events and the top 12 in overall passing points in each of the three divisions will be locked into Sunday’s big money features.
All other competitors will run qualifying races Sunday to solidify their spots in Sunday’s feature events.
Each feature starter in the USRA Modified division will earn at least $1,500 and each starter in the Medieval USRA Stock Car and USRA B-Mod main events will earn at least $200 for their efforts.
All three nights will count towards the 2021 Vado Speedway Park track championships as well as for Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series regional and national points.
Practice will be held on Thursday, Oct. 21, from 6-9 p.m. for any competitor wishing to turn some laps prior to the big weekend.
Previous USRA Modified winners include Ron Jones (2000, 2001, 2004), Royal Jones (2002), Monte Bolton (2003), Eddie Martin (2005, 2006, 2007), Jason Hughes (2008), Johnny Scott (2009, 2018), Rodney Sanders (2010, 2017), Jason Cummins (2011), Terry Phillips (2012, 2013), Stormy Scott (2014, 2015), Ryan Gustin (2016) and Cade Dillard (2019).
Prior to 2019, the Rancho Milagro USRA Fall Nationals was held at the Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces.
Based in Taos, New Mexico, Rancho Milagro will once again be the title sponsor of the event and continue their amazing support of auto racing across the country.
For fans not able to make it to the event in person, every lap of all three nights will be streamed live at watchfye.tv.
