Lebanon opener falls to rain

The 2021 season opener at The Lebanon Midway Speedway fell to Mother Nature as late night Thursday rains got the better of the track.

The season opener has been rescheduled to next Friday, April 30, as the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series for the USRA Modifieds and USRA B-Mods will get underway with track, regional and national points events.

The USRA B-Mods will be competing for $1,000 to win with an 18-car minimum while the runner-up takes home $500. If the minimum car count is not met, the feature will pay $500 to win.

The high horsepower of the USRA Modifieds will be competing for $600 to win and $100 to start.

Action will also feature Midwest Mods, Super Stocks, Pure Stocks and Hornets.

Gates will open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 7 and racing at 8.
