Southern Iowa Speedway rained out for May 27

OSKALOOSA, Iowa — Races for Wednesday, May 27, at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa, have been canceled due to inclement weather.

Kids Night has been moved to June 10 while the "License To Thrill" special for Oskaloosa residents will now be June 17.

In action next Wednesday, June 3, at the Mahaska County Half-Mile Monster will be four action-packed classes in the American Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series featuring MUSCO Lighting USRA Modifieds, USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Cars, USRA Karl Chevrolet B-Mods and USRA Hobby Stocks.

Hobby Stocks will be racing for a special $700 top prize in their main event.

Pit gates will open at 5:00 while spectator gates open at 5:30. Hot laps will start around 7:15 and the first green flag is slated to wave at 7:30 sharp.
