Midway Speedway ready for season opener this Saturday

LEBANON, Mo. - The Action Track of the Ozarks is ready to open the gates for the 2009 racing season with the fifth season of exciting dirt track racing action at the Midway Speedway.

Fans will see all six classes in action, including the USRA Modifieds, Factory Stocks, B-Mods, Late Model Sportsmans, Bombers and Pure Stocks.

The gates will open at 5 p.m. with hot laps to start at 7 and racing at 8 p.m. sharp.

The weatherman has decided to give us a beautiful long-range forecast for Friday night and, by the way the early season practices have went, it will be a banner season at the Midway.

Jamie Ragland is the defending USRA Modified track champion.

Admission for this season opener will be $10 for adults while kids ages 11-15 are $5 and children 10 and under are FREE. Pit passes will be $25.
