Keller collects Friday night cahs at I-35 Speedway

Early Tractor Night provided great entertainment for all in attendance Friday at the I-35 Speedway.  The track, still in compliance with the local and state COVID-19 requirements, ran to a social-distancing grandstand and pit area as the always-super-smooth racing surface provided a lot of racing action.

The American Racer USRA Stock Cars were born for excitement. Austin Bouzek was apparently the man to beat on this night, winning his heat and leading the most laps of the feature.

However, a late racecar failure allowed Doug Keller and another heat winner, Gary Donaldson, to zip past Bouzek for a one-two finish with Bouzek coasting to sixth on the last lap.

On May 30, the I-35 Speedway returns to Saturday night racing for all classes.
