I-44 ready to rumble this Saturday; Open practice set for Thursday

LEBANON, Mo. - After a month of wet weather and reconfiguring the track surface, the I-44 Speedway is ready for racing action in the Central Bank Racing Series on Saturday night, June 28.

The Speedway, which is celebrating it's 25th Anniversary, will reopen with a special grandstand admission price of $5 for adults while tier prices remain the same.

Classes competing will feature the UMP Late Models, USRA Modifieds, Factory Stocks, B-Mods and Bombers, along with the area Super Stocks also making their second apperance of the season.

There will be an open practice session on Thursday night, June 26, to test the new dirt and changes in the track surface with activities starting around 7 p.m.

The I-44 Speedway will be racing on Saturday night, July 5, with a special fireworks show scheduled along with racing in the UMP Late Models, Factory Stocks, B-Mods, Bombers and 305 Winged Sprints.
