Defending Out-Pace USRA B-Mod national champion and current national points leader Kris Jackson of Lebanon took the lead from Tyler Knudtson on lap 3 and remained a perfect two-for-two in the Lebanon Midway Speedway Fall Survivor Series Saturday night in the caution free 15-lap feature as his Ruble Race Engines/TJR Factory 56/3 Link Innovation 65/White's Marine Center No. 65 was on a rail, placing the car anywhere he wanted on the smooth, quick surface.

Jackson started third on the grid after finishing second to 2019 track champion Dillion McCowan in his qualifying heat and a three-row inversion was drawn.

On the start pole setter Knudtson took the opening lead with Jackson, Ricky Watkins, Bob Kerbs and McCowan were slicing door-to-door as Knudtson was fast in the opening laps. On lap 2, McCowan moved quickly into third place behind Jackson as the outstanding action continued from last weeks special event.

On lap 3, Jackson got a strong run off turn 3 and went around Knudtson to the front. McCowan and Knudtson were putting on a great race for second as they stayed with Jackson for the next three laps until Jackson started to slowly pull away. The outstanding race for second went the entire distance as McCowan made the pass on lap 9 as he made the move while Bob Kerbs was a solid fourth and closing in.

With the feature staying green, the top 4 stayed in the spots with second heat race winner Donnie Jackson holding fifth.

Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series action continues next Saturday night, Sept. 21, with racing action at 7:30 p.m. and driver draw cut-off at 7.

In addition to the Out-Pace USRA B-Mods, racing action will also include Street Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Pure Stocks, Hornets and a special appearance by the Gateway Vintage Racing Association.
