Lebanon's Tyler Knudtson came charging from the 11th starting spot and found the high groove to his enjoyment in taking the lead from leader Kelly Hicks on lap 10 and drove away in taking his 2nd straight Out-Pace USRA B-Mod win Friday night at The Lebanon Midway Speedway.

Hicks, from his pole position grabbed the opening lead with track point leader Dillion McCowan, Donnie Jackson, current Out-Pace USRA B-Mod national points leader Kris Jackson and defending track champion Sam Petty in tow in the fast paced, tight knit pack. A lap 2 caution saw McCowan, and both Jackson's involved in a spin off turn 2 with McCowan not able to continue. On the restart, Petty, had Dayton Newell on his bumper as Knudtson was picking his spots and Kris Jackson charging from the back side. Hicks was keeping the pack at bay as Jackson was roaring through the pack and had the leader in his sights on lap 6 when he slowed off the pace with problems ending his charge as Petty was keeping Newell and Knudtson at bay.

Following a caution, on the restart, Knudtson hooked the top groove and while it is longer, it was the quickest way around as he began to pick off spots while Hicks was still holding the lead. Knudtson made the winning pass off turn 4 and then rocketed away leaving a tight race for the runner-up spot as Hicks gave way to Petty and Newell in the race for 2nd.

Knudtson, who has turned the season around goes back to back and closes in on point leader McCowan in the standings. Petty came home and solid runner-up with Newell,, a hard charging Donnie Jackson, early leader Hicks completing the top 5.

Summit USRA  Weekly Racing Series action featuring the Out-Pace USRA B-Mods presented by U Pull It Auto Parts of Lebanon rolls on next Friday Night July 27th with a full points program with racing at 8PM.
