Midway Speedway ready to begin action-packed 2008 season this Friday
LEBANON, Mo. -- The action-packed 2008 race season is set to begin Friday night at the Midway Speedway in Lebanon, Mo., with the first points show of the season.
The Midway Speedway is ready to begin its fourth full season of racing and has set a very aggressive schedule for this season with a geat mixture of regular shows and special events.
Friday night the gates will open at 5 p.m. with hot laps scheduled to start at 6:50 and racing at 8 p.m. sharp. Action this Friday night will feature the USRA Modifieds, Factory Stocks, 305 Winged Sprints, Bombers, Super Stock Sportsmans and B-Mods on the regular card with the winner of the B-Mod feature taking home $500.
Defending champions includs Donnie Gennings of Eldridge (Super Stock Sportsmans), Eric Hudson of Rolla (USRA Modifieds), Mike Piercy of Lebanon (Bombers), J.P. Compton of Crane (305 Winged Sprints), Dylan Keeper of Hurley (Factory Stocks) and Jason Otto of Richland (B-Mods).
Admission for the season opener on Friday night, March 28, will be $10 for adults, kids 10 to 15 years old are just $5 and children under 10 are admitted FREE. Pit passes are $25.
The Midway Speedway will host the O'Reilly MLRA Late Model Series season opener on Friday night, April 4, along with points races for all the other classes.
