Kasson State Bank signs as sponsor of Kasson Speedway
KASSON, Minn. -- Kasson State Bank has signed on as a MID-Mods sponsor for 2008. The locally-owed bank and long time supporter of the speedway has committed to sponsor the largest and very exciting class of racing.
“We are excited to have Kasson State Bank back, and their sponsorship will allow us to support our Midwest Modified drivers in a big way. As a result we will post a track points fund that will pay $1,500 to win the Midwest Modified Track Championship,” stated promoter Scott Mondus.
In addition to the points fund, Kasson Speedway will continue to post the highest weekly payout for Midwest Mods in an extended area of $300 to win.
The fans of Kasson Speedway love Modifieds and while we will continue to support the big “open mods,” the class of Midwest Mods has grown in size and popularity, the result is a class that deserves the respect of us as promoters. We plan to take the lead on giving that respect to the class in hopes that our commitment will ensure that the biggest class in Midwest dirt racing will consider Kasson Speedway the “Home of Midwest Modifieds.”
